Phonics: Today, the students reviewed the “C/c” and “K/k”
sound, actions and song. Students brainstormed some words they learned this
week and practiced with Flashcards. Students sat in a circle with a partner and
practiced sounding out, reading, and using words in sentences. Great job SKs!
Lunch/ Recess 1
Math: Today, the students were introduced to ordinal
numbers. Students watched a video, “Ordinal Numbers Song”. Students then
practiced their ordinal numbers on the board with several examples. Finally,
students went to their desks where they completed a worksheet collaboratively
with their group mates.
Unit of
Inquiry: Today, students were introduced to their Down on the Farm
Summative Assessments.
